Problem
Hand & Foot Friends & Family Edition is a multiplayer card-game app I founded around a variant of the card game my family has played for decades. The original build had grown technical debt that made iteration on player feedback slow and operating costs higher than they needed to be.
Approach
Rebuilding end-to-end with Claude Code: new backend architecture, redesigned UI, shipping to web, iOS, and Android from a unified codebase.
Outcome
In progress — early shipping milestones met. The build is also functioning as a reference architecture for multi-platform deployment patterns I expect to use again.
