Problem

Purchased was paying roughly $4,000 a year across Pipedrive, HubSpot, and Mailchimp for a fragmented stack that didn’t fit how we actually sold. Outbound campaigns lived in one system, the pipeline in another, and the AI-assisted summarization and triage features I wanted didn’t exist in any of them at the price point I’d pay for them.

Approach

I built a self-hosted replacement end-to-end: database schema, backend, frontend, AI integrations. Drag-and-drop pipeline view. Automatic Gmail capture so every inbound and outbound email lands on the right deal without manual logging. A/B-tested outbound campaign infrastructure with reply and bounce tracking. Claude Code–powered email triage, deal summaries, and a weekly pipeline briefing that runs every Sunday night.

Outcome

Eliminated about $4,000/yr in SaaS spend. Replaced three separate tools with one workflow that’s tighter than any of them individually. Most importantly, made the system extensible — every new AI capability I want to add is a feature flag away rather than a vendor request.
